Elder Walter and Min. Judy Scott:
The bible tells us that absent from the body is to be present with the LORD and with that being said - please know that your son Walter is presently with the LORD and will be your guardian angel from this point until the time our father calls you home and Walter will be one to meet you on that Journey. Granted: there are many unanswered questions lingering and details to be discussed, but hold on to those precious memories of which Walter had shared with you during his time on this side. Let not your heart be troubled for GOD is watching over and will see you through. As children of GOD we know we will see him again. My prayers and those of countless others in Tapestry Ministries (Disciples of Christ) of Berkeley, Ca. - the congregation I serve - are with both of you and the entire Scott clan. Some of us have walked the same journey, but we know that each situation is different, however, may your heart be comforted in knowing we stand with you. Finally: remember to take care of yourself during this time and the time ahead of you by allowing yourself to be comforted by GOD.

God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
