Albert Barrett Stavitsky "Al" CHARLOTTE - Albert "Al" Barrett Stavitsky, 91, passed away on December 1, 2012 at Levine Dickson Hospice House. Al was a WWII veteran, after which he studied law at New York University. He then launched a successful career in real estate and finance law. Al spent decades serving his clients including governments worldwide. Albert assisted various countries with their economic and commercial development, leading to numerous honors, including knight-hoods from: Cyprus, Holy Cross of Jerusalem, Greece, Haiti and El Salvador. Al was known as a man who never took "no" for an answer, always accomplishing what he set out to do. In his retirement he served as a New Hampshire Traffic Highway Safety Commissioner and volunteered his time to various causes. Albert will be sorely missed by his wife Barbara and extended family. Funeral Service will be at the Sharon Memorial Mausoleum, Wednesday December 5th, 1 pm. Al was one of a kind !!! He was the best friend one could have if you had Honesty and Integrity. He belived that if you would deal with the world with those same principles, the U.S. would come out on top. We love Al and surely miss him. He had a sense of humor
