Mary Jessie Graham Baucom CHARLOTTE - Mary Jessie Graham Baucom, 90, of Charlotte passed away peacefully Tuesday, October 9, 2012, with her family by her side. Graveside services will be held 11:00 am Saturday October 13, 2012 at Sharon Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Hickory Grove UMC at 12:30 pm. Mary was born June 27, 1922 in Rock Hill, SC to the late Neal G. and Lela Autry Graham. She was a senior member of Hickory Grove UMC and a resident of Aldersgate Retirement Community, where she remained active, enjoying traveling with friends, crafting jewelry and participating in fashion shows. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Homer W. Baucom and brother Neal G. Graham, Jr. Mary was the proud mother of her children and their families; Gary (Libby), Debra Fickes (James), Sandra Nichols (Lonnie), Alan (Nancy) and Mark Baucom, nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren along with a brother Richard Graham (Peggy) and their extended families. Memorial contributions may be made in Mary's honor to Hickory Grove UMC, 6401 Hickory Grove Rd., Charlotte, North Carolina 28215 On-line condolences may be left to www.heritagefuneral.net.
