Lawrence Alexander Moore "Lex" HUNTERSVILLE - Mr. Lawrence Alexander "Lex" Moore, age 64 of 16011 Henry Lane in Huntersville, died on Monday, April 22, 2013. A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 26, 2013 at Unity Presbyterian Church with Rev. Carol Clark officiating. The family will receive friends at a reception in the church fellowship hall following the service. Mr. Moore was born April 29, 1948 in Huntington, WV to the late Lawrence Xavier and Ellouise MacKenzie Moore. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Helen Darby Moore. Mr. Moore served in the United States Army and then later worked as a medical sales representative. He is survived by his wife, Sarah "Sally" Bagley Moore of the home; a son, Joshua Higgins Moore and fianc‚ Karen Marie Cramblette of Cornelius; a daughter, Natalie Cole Moore of St. Pete, FL; one sister, Christine Cole Moore of Orlando, FL; and three grandchildren, Jacob Rider Moore, Kyle Connor Moore, and Cassedee Cramblette, all of Cornelius. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Unity Presbyterian Church, 8210 Unity Church Road, Denver, NC 28037. Warlick Funeral Home is serving the Moore family.

Sally, Lex will be greatly missed. I sure enjoyed his wonderful friendship over the years. He always could make me laugh with his great sense of humor. We'll get to see him again one day!! Becky and I will stay in touch with you.
