Andrea,
I didn't know your Mom, but I know she raised a wonderful daughter. My heart aches for you and your family. No matter how old you are or what stage of life you're in, it hurts to lose a parent. I'm so glad you are surrounded with a wonderful family and group of friends to help you through these sad times. Love to you, Jeannie Lemmond

To my Mom. I sincerely believe, that the woman I have become today, is so much because of you being my Mom. You sacrificed SO much for myself and Andrea, to make sure we always had a good life in spite of our hardships. You were never a victim of our unique circumstances. You were the epitome of a TRUE survivor. Yet, during the toughest times, you always were ALWAYS helping others in worse situations than ours. I HONOUR you, Mom- for all the selfless volunteering you did with the Red Cross, and our schools, the community, and most importantly, ALWAYS making sure Andrea and I had the BEST life growing up, as well as always helping less fortunate people better themselves. We may not have ever had a lot of financial wealth, but the challenges we encountered as a family, and you being a single Mom, raising 2 girls, on your own was SO brave, and heroic. I wish I could have been a better daughter to you. I know the last time we spoke, I let you know how much I appreciated the warrior strength that you showed, which taught me to be strong, no matter what adversity I would encounter. Never, do I forget, or take for granted how blessed I am to have had you as my role model in life, teaching me to not only survive, but thrive. I am so thankful to have had you on this earth for as long as you were here. You are forever in my heart, and I will find even more strength from your passing. THANK YOU for raising me to be the best woman that I continue to strive daily to be. RIP Mom. You will always be a huge part of me,and with me forever.

As a friend of your daughter, Corinne, I can say that you left the world a BEAUTIFUL legacy and light in her and in your granddaughter, Caitlyn, whom I am also honored to know. I will pray for you and for your family, that the light they have in abundance never fade so that your spirit will live on in them.

Fond memories of serving God together at Pines Baptist Church. Joan kept me laughing with her wit. One thing I know is that I will see you later.
