Davis, Regina A. - Charlotte  
Regina Avon Davis, 53 of Charlotte, NC left her friends and family after a strong battle with cancer on May, 24, 2016 at home. She was born in Charlotte, NC on June 18, 1962, and was a graduate of Myers Park High. Her funeral service will be at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday May 28, 2016 at Alexander Funeral Home Chapel-1424 Statesville Ave., Charlotte, NC 28206. The visitation will be from 2:30-3:30. DiDonato, Maryanne - Waxhaw  
Maryanne, 56, passed away surrounded by family on Monday, May 23, 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Jeanette Poole. Maryanne was a graduate of Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake High School and SUNY Delhi where she received her LPN in nursing. Her career path began in New York for ten years as office manager for Constance Glasgow-MD. Eventually moving downstate New York and proceeding on to Charlotte, North Carolina, she continued in the medical field as a marketing representative for Blue Shield, and then spending several years as practice manager for a division of Carolina's Healthcare System. Upon retiring from the medical field, Maryanne assisted her husband as office manager with their business known as, Heritage Oak Inc. DBA Michael's Lawn and Landscape. Maryanne enjoyed life. She was a loving mother, wife, and great friend to many. In her free time, she liked volunteering at Heavensown Animal Rescue and spent many days as part of the Booster Club for the basketball and football teams at Cuthbertson High School. She is survived by her husband, Steven DiDonato; her two sons, Neal and Steven; siblings, Margaret Cernik (Suzanne Latimer) and Ryan Poole (Sheila); ten nieces and nephews; and six great nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Heritage Funeral Home, Indian Trail Chapel, from 6-7pm on Thursday, May 26. A memorial service will follow at 7pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Maryanne's name to Heavensown Animal Rescue, 6415 Marvin Fowler Road, Waxhaw, N.C. 28173. Doster, Max Harvey - Lancaster  
Mr. Max Harvey Doster, age 87, died Monday, May 23, 2016. He was born December 9, 1928 in Chesterfield County, the son of the late John Harvey Doster and Bertha McCray Doster and was the husband of the late Margaret Belk Doster. Mr. Doster was employed with Matthews Building Supplies as a purchasing agent, he also worked for Springs Industries, and for Builder Supply. He was a very giving person he loved gardening so that he could give his produce away to friends and family, and everyone looked forward to his shelled pecans he gave out. He loved spending time with his family and friends and enjoyed traveling the country side with his wife. They would go anywhere a car would go as long as Margaret didn't have to fly. Mr. Doster was a member of White Springs Baptist Church where he served in many capacities. He taught the Ladies Sunday School Class and served as a Deacon for many years. He loved his church and was there each time the doors were open. Mr. Doster was survived by a son, Jerry Doster and his wife, Jeannie of Lexington, SC; a grandchild, Melissa Ann Zaker and her husband, Shane; two step grandchildren, James and Jennifer Tobias; two great grandchildren, Noah and Emma Zaker; a brother, Donald Doster and his wife, Edith of Union County, NC. Mr. Doster was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Margaret Belk Doster, and four brothers, Frank, Odus, John and Billy Doster; two sisters, Susie Doster Funderburk and Marjorie Doster Deese. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mr. Doster will be 3:00 pm, Friday, May 27, 2016 at White Springs Baptist Church by Rev. Don Waldrop. Burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial; Park. A visitation will be held at White Springs Baptist Church, 1249 Grace Ave., Lancaster, SC, Friday, May 27, 2016 at 1:00 - 3:00 pm. in the church fellowship hall. The family suggest memorial contributions be made to Whites Springs Baptist Church 1249 Grace Avenue, Lancaster, SC 29720. Ronnie F. Davis, 57, passed away Monday, May 9, 2016 at Presbyterian Hospital. Ronnie was born in Charlotte, North Carolina and lived there all of his life. Ronnie lived everyday like it was his last. Ronnie is preceded in death by his mother and grandparents. He is survived by his longtime companion of 12 years Collette Foley; his pride and joy daughter Maegan Davis; one son Jacob Davis; brother Eddie Davis; sisters Diane Ingram and Darnelle Teal; many great friends. Ronnie will be deeply missed by all. He was very active in the Local Union 71 Teamsters. Visitation will take place at McEwen Funeral Service at Sharon Memorial Park, 5716 Monroe Road, Charlotte from 11am-1pm on Saturday, May 21, 2016.
