Violeta Moore Obituary
Mrs. Moore of Charlotte passed away January 4, 2011 at home after a long illness with her family at her side. Aurea Violeta Ganoza Morales was born on June 14, 1934 in Trujillo, Peru to Teodorico Primo Ganoza Luna Victoria and Celia Estila Morales Romero de Ganoza. Violeta was a devoted mother and wife, a loving sister to 23 brothers and sisters, a fun loving aunt and a wonderful friend to many.
Violeta is survived by her daughter, Celia Anne Moore-McNeely (Clifford), son, Anthony Charles Moore (Donna), brothers Oswaldo and Teodorico Ganoza (Ico), sisters Tula, Ena, Mary, Gloria and Alicia Ganoza, grandchildren, Joseph, Mary-Madison, Patrick, William, Aidan, Emily, Dutch and Jenni as well as great-grandchildren, Charleigh and Mason and nieces, Lucy del Pilar, Carmen, Rosana, Bernardete Ganoza, nephews Joseph and Danny Berry, Oswaldo Ganoza, Ismael Ganoza.
Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her parents Teodorico and Celia Ganoza, her husband, Joseph Charles Moore, brothers and sisters, Elena, Elvira, Abraham, Carlos, Guillermo, Jorge, Julio, Luis, Teodorico (Ganoza Rios), Estila, Maria, Nila, Victor(Ganoza Flores), Alberto, Alfredo, Dolly and Elmer Ganoza (Morales).
A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at McKee Road Baptist Church, 4300 McKee Road, Charlotte, NC 28270 Friday January 14, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. Visitation with the family will be at 6:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the 'McKee Comfort Campaign' or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
