Elaine, I know I speak for all of us as to the sadness of Raymond's passing. We were so close to Raymond and his family while growing up in Bristol. Comic books, old westerns, playing baseball across from their house are such vivid memories. Raymond, of course, was an exceptional baseball player ( other sports as well ). I know he is in Heaven, and, I supect, choosing teams for a baseball game. No doubt, his team will win. Again, a sad loss. Such a wonderful person. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and all of his family. Frank, Ronnie,Fred and Mickey Scott

Elaine and Family,

It saddens me to be reading of Raymond's passing but rejoice at the same time because we know that God wrapped His loving arms around him when He called him home.

My memories of Raymond, you and he Neil family goes back to our high school days and before you'll moved from Bristol. No matter when or were you saw Raymond, he would always light up any room (small or big) with his bright big smile and the twinkle in his eyes. He was a very good person just as you are Elaine. What better message could anyone send to you at a sorrowful time as this as to say "he is in Heaven rejoicing with our Lord" and to say "he is a mentor". I pray that God will grant you each with peace. comfort, love and strength as you travel down this path as I know He will.

Elaine, please give your mother a big hug from me and tell her to embrace you with a big hug from me. I will have you and the family in my prayers. May God continue to bless you always.

Elaine, Gina and Kel,
I am praying for you and hope that you will find comfort in remembering all the good times. Ray was to me a mountain of a man. A mentor, role model and friend. As a teenager giving me a job that allowed me to play sports and encouraging me to do well in school. Then inviting me to play for some teams where I learned about competitiveness, sportsmanship and manhood. Ray was a man's man in anybody's book and he will be missed tremendously. He and all of the family were great friends of the Harris' and supportive when we went through times like this. Ray just loved people and people loved Ray.
if there is anything I can do please let me know.

Ray,

Sure will miss you at the ballgames. We had some fun times. You always made me and my family feel loved.

Elaine,
I was so sorry to hear of Raymond's passing. When I was young I always was in awe of Raymond's love of baseball and even though I was a mouthy little kid, Raymond was always nice and as I've grown older I have never forgotten that kindness. I have no doubt that as our Lord has told us that we can't even imagine how wonderful heaven is, people like Raymond contribute to making it so special. My prayers are with you and your family and please remember that memories might be God's greatest gift.
