Vickie, I let life get in the way of keeping in touch! I am so sorry.I have such great memories of all of us together. It is hard to believe I won't see Benny's beautiful smile again or get schooled on some really great Jazz piece he just discovered! He could always calm my spirit and soothe my soul. So glad I got to spend a little time with him on this earth. Stay strong, my sister.

Benny was my neighbor, and like another brother to me during my childhood. He and my brother were very close friends. Of course, I tried to tag along whenever I could. Benny was the reason I wanted to play tenor sax, which I still play to this day. I loved him. He will be missed. My condolences to Bobby, Vickie and his entire family.

My sincere condolences to Benny's family. Me and my three brothers grew up with Benny in Waynesville,NC. I hadn't seen Benny in several years but I recall him being a great guy and one heck of a sax player. RIP Benny. To the family I am very sorry for your loss.

Benny was a very sweet man. He was the brother of my boss( Bobby). I have known hm for many years and during that time he always had a smile on his face and a kind word for everyone. My prayers go out to all the family because Benny will be greatly missed.
