David Casper

David E. Casper, Sr. MONROE - David E. Casper, Sr., of Monroe, went to be with the Lord on March 17, 2014. He was born to the late Irvin and Marylee Casper of Richfield. David was a graduate of Chelsea University and Pfeiffer University with degrees in Structural and Electrical Engineering. He attended Spirit of Joy Lutheran Church where he enjoyed using his professional skills to advance Gods kingdom. He was an avid wood worker, vintage car enthusiast, and a antique collector. David was preceded in death by his first wife Wanda Efrid Casper Mullis and his daughter Sharon Casper Lowery. He is survived by his son David E. Casper, Jr. (Sybil); daughter Tammi Casper Reid (Bobby); John David Lowery, Sr., husband of the late Sharon Casper Lowery; grandchildren Rev. David E. Casper, III (Amanda), Jacob R. Casper, Joshua W. Casper, Nicholas L. McCroskey (Andrea), Matthew L. McCroskey (Brittany), John David Lowery, Jr., Summer R. Lowery, Jimmy L. Lowery; three great-grandchildren Skylar McCroskey, Ella McCroskey, Abbigail McCroskey. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 19, 2014, at Heritage Funeral Home, 3700 Forest Lawn Drive, Matthews from 6-8 pm. Service will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2014 ,at 2pm at Heritage Funeral Home. Interment will take place at Richfield Cemetery, Richfield.
