Jean Anoff

Jean S. Anoff CHARLOTTE - Jean Anoff, 74, of Charlotte, passed away Sunday, August 12, 2012, at CMC-Mercy. She was born September 25, 1937 in Chicago, IL to the late Arthur Schoenstadt and Gwendolyn Strauss Schoenstadt. Mrs. Anoff was the owner of Sesco, Inc., a promotional products company, for over 30 years. She was chairwoman of Summit House; past president of the Women's Commission of Meck-lenburg County; a past member of the Council of Aging for 12 years; volunteered for Hadassah; and was past president of B'nai B'rith Women. Mrs. Anoff was originally from Chicago, IL, where her family owned a chain of movie theaters. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Arthur Schoenstadt, Jr. Mrs. Anoff is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Philip Anoff; daughter, Carol Anoff Jennings; son, Donald Anoff (Debra); daughter, Cathy Anoff Johnson; and grandchildren, Wade and Jay Jennings, Samuel, Leah, and Noah Anoff, Brandon Sparks, and Stephanie Johnson.
