Nicholas Joseph Williams MATTHEWS - Nicholas Joseph Williams, 14, died Tuesday, December 17, 2013. A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday at St. Stephen United Methodist Church, 6800 Sardis Road in Charlotte. The family will receive friends following the service at the church. Nicholas Joseph Williams is a young man who has filled many roles well in his short lifetime with us. He is the loving son of Shelly Allison Williams and Steven Ashley Williams. He is an amazing brother to Hannah Monroe Williams. His grandparents are Jeffrey Lee Allison of Morganton, NC, Sharon and Dennis Burns of Phoenix, AZ and Howard and Marlene Williams of Charlotte, NC. Nicholas' great-grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Joe Lee Allison of Valdese, NC and Walter Reel of Marion, NC. So many attributes describe this amazing young man. He was gentle, considerate, patriotic, serious and funny. Nicholas was a member of the Sun Valley High School NJROTC and had plans to have a career in the United States Marine Corps
. He was a member of St. Stephen United Methodist Church. Nicholas' legacy will live on through his participation in the National Organ Donor Program with an emphasis on serving the donor needs of our wounded armed service members.
