Mattie Dillard Boozer CLEMMONS - Mattie Dillard Boozer, 86, died Thursday March 28, 2013, at Katie B. Reynolds Hospice Winston Salem, NC. She was the daughter of the late Isaac Dillard and Carrie Rice Dillard and was the wife of the late Mr. Henry Allen Boozer, Sr. She was a member of the Mt. Zion CME Church, Cross Anchor, and a member of Stewardess Board, Missionary Society (past president), and Senior choir and the director of the Christian Youth Fellowship (CYF). For the past 5 years she had faithfully attended the St. John CME Church, Winston-Salem, NC. She retired from the Whitten Center Children's Home Clinton, SC. Survivors include one daughter, Jewel Boozer (Charles) Cherry with whom she resided in Winston-Salem, NC; one son, Henry Allen (Ron) Boozer, Jr. (Karen), Memphis, TN; Mrs. Bennie Nell (reared in the home) of Woodruff, SC; one sister, Mrs. Ethel Dillard Palmer, Charlotte, NC; two brothers, Rev. and Mrs. Loomus Dillard, Bixley, OK, Elder and Mrs. Johnny Dillard, Maryland; two additional sisters-in-law, Mrs. Wilma Dillard ,Cross Keys, SC, and Mrs. Mandy Dillard, Brooklyn, NY; and three grandchildren, Michael Cherry, Greenville, SC, Adrienne Cherry, Raleigh, NC, and Allayah Cherry, Winston-Salem, NC. Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM Monday, April 1, 2013, at W.J. Gist Memorial Chapel, Woodruff, SC. Funeral service will be held, 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 2, 2013, at Mt.
