Nellie Letson Obituary
STANLEY -- Mrs. Letson, born November 11, 1936, passed away peacefully at her son's home on February 3, 2011 at the age of 74. Nellie was a repair tech at Black & Decker when she retired and became a snowbird. She was a spunky, fun-loving woman who cherished her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Letson, to whom she was married 15 years; brother, Bobby John Merrington; children, Buddy Maree and wife Becky, Rita Burleson, Danny Maree and wife Terry, Amanda Helms and husband Randy; stepchildren, Doug Letson and wife Becky, Priscilla Searles and husband Wayne, Bobbie Letson and wife Sandra, Christina Wicker and husband Phillip; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren who were the joy and love of her life.
The family will receive friends and family from 4:00-5:00pm Tuesday, February 8, 2011 with a memorial service following at Crossroads Community Church, 1807 Lawing Rd., Charlotte, NC 28216.
