John, I was sorry about your mother. When I read the obituary in the newspaper, I remembered that I knew you in junior high school, once upon a time! My own mother has been a homebound invalid for over three years, and I doubt that she has much longer. My father takes care of her, with assistance from nurses and the hospice. God bless you and your family in the coming days.

John--I am so glad that I had the opportunity to meet your mom. She was a very sweet lady. My deepest condolences are with you, Karen, John Gary and Carrie as you grieve.

John, My thoughts and prayers are with you as I learned about the loss of your Mother yesterday. I have fond memories of her and your Dad during our Scouting years and the stay overs at your home. I remember those good old Salisbury steaks she brought home from the school cafeteria. Hope to catch up with you and Karen sometime and reminisce about our St. James days....I'm in Boone, NC if you ever get up this way. Your Scouting and Music friend, Rick Osborne

Hi, John--I just heard the sad news about your Mom, and wanted to let you know that my thoughts are with you. I never met her, except by hearing stories about her through you. She had to be exceptional to raise such a great kid! I'll say extra prayers for her, and for your family!

John and Karen--I am so sorry about your loss. I loved Marjorie and even over the last year enjoyed emails from her. I intended to come to the funeral and visitation but will be unable to attend on Tuesday. Much love to both of you and
John Gary and Carrie. Darlene
