My condolences to Chuck's family. I was so shocked to learn of his passing. I was a partner with him for 12 years in a condo in Lake Tahoe. Sounds like he led a rich and fulfilling life.

Robin my name is Terry Carter, i was freinds with Chuck from the 5th grade through high school,Chuck was my mentor , Chuck and i worked togather at Paule Munroe hydraulics, sully and son hydraulic, in Bakersfield ,we couched football, baseball , played racket ball, Chuck was my best friend, this is the biggest surprise ,im so glade chuck found a wonderfull person to spend his life with, i will always love Chuck, im so sorry we didnt have a chance to meet, im so sorry for your lose may god be with you . SORRY, ill miss him

I just found out today while at a trade show in Louisville of Chuck's passing. What a shock. My condolence to you and your family. I met Chuck for the first time at a trade show in Las Vegas in early 2000. I was suprised to find out that we both lived in Huntersville and worked in the same industry. Chuck will be trully missed by all of us who knew him.

I know you will not know who I am, but I worked for and was a good friend of Bob and June Houghton. While working for Bob at CNB I got to know the whole family. It was a great experience. I am truly sorry for your loss. Chuck is another part of my life that will be missing.

Robin,
I had arrived in Charlotte only a few hours prior when I received a call from my wife last night informing me of Chuck's passing. I am simply shocked and greatly saddened, as the world has lost a true hero. I had the great pleasure of getting to know Chuck during one of the first trips to Cochabamba, Bolivia several years ago. Even after that trip, as my son and I continued to serve in Bolivia, you and Chuck remained such great partners of the Bolivia Life Center (BLC) by being financial partners with us, thus enabling our return to serve the boys of the BLC, as well the poor of Cochabamba. To this day, when I think of Chuck I immediately think of a Teddy Bear - a big guy with an even bigger continuos smile, a huge heart and an unforgettable laugh. A picture of Chuck holding one of the younger boys of the BLC, both grinning from ear to ear, is forever etched in my mind. I will miss Chuck immensely, but will always remember the positive impact he had on my life, as well as the lives of so many more. I loved Chuck, as a brother in Christ and as a friend. I hope that my words and the words of all that loved Chuck will bring you comfort during this difficult time. Thank you for helping Chuck be the MAN that he was, thus helping myself and many others.

I Knew Chuck and his family as neighbors when we were children. We enjoy playing baseball and climbing the fence between our yards. My brothers and I were so sad when we had to move from this special family Always wondered about them and I share in your loss.
