Every Dream
Her heart a free spirit that no bonds could tame
She loved every moment, she lived for the day
She spread joy and laughter wherever she flew
She harbored the hearts of all hurting she knew
No thoughts of the evil that that lie in the dark
To destroy any journeys still left to embark
Yet the void could not take what deity filled
No weapon could stop what eternity willed
Before harm could strike, her Angel was there
He cradled her softly, and brushed back her hair
He caught in his wings, her very last tear
He whispered so softly, your Savior is near
Rest here in my arms, for I'll carry you home
Where sorrow and fear shall find no place to roam
The best lies before you, such wonders you'll share
Freedom and love are awaiting you there
Just there by the water so calm and so blue
Are God's meekest creatures, just waiting for you
No more of the darkness of man's lowest schemes
Heaven knows all you've hoped for, God's seen every dream
