LINCOLNTON -- Mrs. Thoms, age 75, died on Wednesday, July 27, 2011.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm on Friday, July 29, 2011 at Salem United Methodist Church with Rev. David Hobson officiating. The family will receive friends from 3:30 until 4:00 pm prior to the service.
Mrs. Thoms was born January 9, 1936 in Akron, OH to the late Wilbur Clyde and Myrtle Mae Christman Diller. She worked in real estate as an office manager.
She is survived by her husband, Kevin O. Thoms of the home; two sons, Michael Thoms of California and Jeffery Thoms of Waxhaw; one daughter, Lisa Hundley of Bridgeport, CT; one sister, Janice Abshire of Maryland; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Salem United Methodist Church, 378 N. Pilot Knob Road, Denver, NC 28037.
Warlick Funeral Home is serving the Thoms family.
