 Blanca Haydee Amador CHARLOTTE - Mrs. Amador, 82, of Charlotte, NC, died on September 23, 2012 in the Harris Hospice at Presbyterian Hospital. She was born on December 19, 1929 in Granada, Nicaragua, daughter of the late Santos Amador and Mar¡a Josefa Baltodano. Before coming to Charlotte, NC on December 1, 1987, she lived temporarily in Costa Rica from 1984 until 1987. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Amador was preceded in death by her twin sister, Mar¡a de los Santos Amador; sisters, Margarita Gonz lez and Julia Baltodano; and her brother Humberto Baltodano. She is survived by her ex-husband, Abel Medina; their children, Rev. Mr. Carlos Alberto Medina and his wife, Martha, and Sonia de los Angeles Medina; grandchildren, Carlos Alberto Medina, Jr., Luis Enrique Medina and his wife, Wendy, Samuel Antonio Medina, Norberto Medina and his wife, Linda, and Karen Cuadra and her husband, Sinoes; great-grandchildren, John Abel Medina, Maya Medina, Venaly Medina, Christian Medina, and Josu‚ Guzm n y Oseas Guzm n; nieces, Mar¡a Auxiliadora Suazo and her husband, Roger, Mayra Vargas, Lourdes Vargas and her husband, Humberto and Adilia Baltodano; sister, Angela Rosa Amador; nephews, Richard Vargas and his wife, Marta and Mario Vargas and his wife, Arely; nieces, Rosaura Balto-dano, Mar¡a Estela Baltodano, Yamileth Suazo and her husband, Gonzalo, Marjorie Mali-a¤os and her husband, Elman and Mar¡a Jos‚ Vargas; and many other nieces and nephews in Charlotte and Nicaragua. Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM, Friday, September 28, 2012 at Iglesia Pentecostal El Tabernaculo De Bendicion, 5006 Albemarle Rd. Charlotte, NC 28205 with Pastor Tino Ramirez, officiating. Interment will follow in Sharon Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren and other family members. The family will receive friends, Thursday evening, September 27, 2012 at Hankins & Whittington Funeral Service, 1111 East Blvd., Charlotte, NC 28203 from 6:00 until 7:00 PM. At 7:00 PM there will be a prayer and Rosary service followed by the family receiving friends until 9:00 PM.
