Clarence Wakefield Hill CHARLOTTE - Clarence Wakefield Hill died on October 30, 2013, at his home. He turned 84 on October 27. He is survived by his wife, Pat B. Hill of 64 years. He leaves behind daughter, Donna Flint and husband Kenny, daughter, Cindy Hill and husband David and son, Paul Hill and wife Donna, seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He was the son of the late C. W. Hill, Sr. and Margarette W. Hill. He was preceded in death by his sister, Peggy Price. Surviving sisters are Carolyn Upchurch and Elizabeth Yarborough. C.W. was a retired Charlotte Police Officer and a veteran of the Korean War. A memorial service will be held celebrating his life on Saturday, November 2, 11:00 at Mallard Creek Presbyterian Church. Visitation will be held in the fellowship hall at the church starting at 9:30 before the service.
