Francis Allen Obituary
Mr. Allen was a member of New Hope Worship Center in Concord and worked in NASCAR for over 30 years before becoming Owner/Operator of a CARQUEST Auto Parts store in Denver, NC. He enjoyed playing golf, time at the beach, and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Jane Jacobs Allen of Concord; two daughters, Gina Dunagan and husband Steve of Concord, and Dana Brewer and husband Tim of Peachtree City, GA; grandchildren, Cayson Dunagan, Emma Dunagan, Suzy Kessler, Brittany Strickler and husband Kyle, Ashton Cooper and husband Alistar, and Jared Kessler; and one great grandchild, Madison Elizabeth Strickler.
A "Celebration of Life" service will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2016, at New Hope Worship Center in Concord, conducted by Pastor Dale Jenkins. Visitation will be 10:30 a.m. with the service to follow at 12:00 noon.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to New Hope Worship Center "Youth Camps", 452 Brookwood Ave NE., Concord, NC 28025.
Carolina Cremation of Salisbury and Charlotte is serving the Allen family. Online condolences may be made at www.carolinacremation.com.

Three days after I moved to NC from CA and knew nothing of the area or anyone there, Francis gave me a job at Allen's Car Parts and it gave me and my fiance at the time a start. Francis was a good man and had a funny banter with his customers and friends. I am just now learning of his passing and pray peace and condolences have reached the family and close friends. I began working for Francis in 1993 and last saw and spoke with Francis in 1996 I believe. He allowed me to work weekends filling in when needed after I had taken work elsewhere. I habe fond memories of my time there and my relationship with Francis, Kenny, and the customers we had. God bless.
