Fred Paricio CHARLOTTE - Fred Paricio of Charlotte, went to be with his Lord, Jesus Christ on Sunday, November 24, 2013, in Huntersville, NC at the Levine Dickson Hospice House. He was surrounded by a full room of his family and friends. He was born on February 16, 1934 in New York, NY. He graduated from NYU in 1956 and married Jacqueline Travis in 1957. He worked as an engineer for IBM for over 30 years. In 1979, he moved the family to Charlotte which is where he retired. This selfless and caring man was preceded in death by his oldest daughter Laura Paricio Moore. He was survived by his wife, Jacqueline Travis Paricio of 56 years, his daughter Lisa Paricio Nagid of Dallas, Karen Paricio Heslin of Cornelius, Renee Paricio Callinan of Waxhaw, his brother Ray Paricio of CO, and his brother Ado Paricio of Austin, TX. He has 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A memorial service to celebrate Fred's life will be held 10:00 am on Wednesday, November 27th at St. Thomas Lutheran Church, 4013 Shamrock Drive, Charlotte, NC 28105. The family would like to express their gratitude to the Levine Dickson Hospice House for their compassionate care. Donations may be made in Fred's name to this wonderful facility.
