Myrtle Ruth Earnheart "Scottie" PINEVILLE - Scottie, 76, of Pineville died Monday, April 7, 2014, at CMC-Main surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 28, 1937, in Robeson County and later moved to Charlotte and graduated from Queens College. Later she retired from McClancy Seasoning. She was an active member of her Sunday School Class at Stough Memorial Baptist Church, and the Red Hat Society. Her survivors include her children, Melinda E. Hoopaugh (Larry) of Chester, S.C. and Billy Earnheart (Kathy) of Marvin; her beloved grandson, Colt Gilliam; and three brothers and one sister. At their Mother's request, a private service will be held at a later date. The family asks that memorials be sent to First Baptist Church of Stanfield, P.O. Box 279, Stanfield NC 28163. In addition the family would like to express their sincere thanks for the care, love and support provided them by the nurses at CMC-Main CVRU and to those in Palliative Care, as well as their church family at Stough.
