Richard C. Treadaway "Ham" PEACHLAND - Mr. Richard C. "Ham" Treadaway, 82, died Friday, May 17, 2013, CMC Union. Born August 13, 1930, in Charlotte, NC, he was a son of the late John Thomas Treadaway and Bessie Wiley Treadaway. Funeral services will be held Monday at 12 noon from the chapel of Morgan & Son Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Sharon Memorial Park in Charlotte. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until to service time on Monday at the funeral home. Mr. Treadaway is survived by his wife Shirley of the home; sons, Mike Treadaway of Monroe, Rick Treadaway of Denver, NC; step-sons, Rick Nance of Marshville and Jeff Nance of Norwood; daughter, Diana Simmerson of Locust; step-daughter, Debbie Caudle of Peachland; brother Tony Treadaway of Harrisburg; sisters Louise Cobb of Mint Hill and Jonnie Lee Robertson of Fayetteville; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; five step-grandchildren. The Morgan & Son Funeral Home is serving the family of Mr. Treadaway.
