Shannon Elizabeth Smith STALLINGS - Shannon Elizabeth Smith, 27, of Stallings, died unexpectedly on August 9, 2012 in Bridgeport, WV. Shannon was born March 5, 1985, in Jacksonville, NC; daughter of Jay and Mary Smith. The family will receive friends tonight from 6-8PM at Heritage Funeral Home, Indian Trail Chapel. She's a graduate from Sun Valley High and attended U.N.C.C. majoring in Psychology. The true love of her life was welcomed into this world in August 2009: her daughter, Aubree Ella Smith. She enjoyed spending time with her daughter, scrapbooking and preparing for all the holidays. Her friends willingly let her dress them up for a good laugh. She never met a stranger and will be missed by all those who knew and loved her. Miss Smith is survived by her parents, Jay and Mary Smith; daughter, Aubree Ella Smith; sister, Amber Smith; brother, Jay Jr.; paternal grandmother, Marilyn Smith; maternal grandfather, James Skinner; and many other relatives and friends.
