Sharon Shepard Arnold CHARLOTTE - Sharon Shepard Arnold, age 58, died peacefully at home due to diabetic complications early Friday morning, December 28, 2012. She was a Florida native that made Charlotte her home in 1974. Sharon is survived by her mother, Marilyn English, daughter and son in law; Courtney and Gabriel Davis and her loving and devoted partner; Richard Webb of Charlotte. Additionally, she has three brothers; James Jr., Tracy, Ronald Shepard and two sisters; Gail Hunter-Hill and Joey Watkins. In life, she was the glue that held her family together. Sharon was a loving mother, devoted to family; she was a lover of animals and demonstrated selfless and limitless generosity in all that she did. She was the ultimate "team mom", the motivator, who never took no for an answer. She was preceded in death by her father; James Shepard, brother; Alan Shepard, niece; Tara Shepard and very recently, her dearly loved brother-in-law; Steven Watkins of Florida. A visitation will be held on Sunday, December 30th, 2012 at 3:00pm at McEwen Mint Hill Chapel 7428 Matthews Mint Hill Rd. Charlotte, NC 28227. A memorial service will follow at 4:30pm. In lieu of flowers please send donations in her name to either the Diabetes Foundation, or her favorite children's charity, Saint Jude Children's Hospital. Sharon loved music, dancing and swimming.
