Carol Ann Robinson CHARLOTTE - Carol Ann Robinson, 69, of Charlotte died Feb. 14, 2014. She was born on March 27, 1944 in Saskatchewan, Canada to the late Frank and Jean Seliske. She worked for 25 years as a Registered Nurse at the world famous Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Ontario, Canada before moving to Charlotte in 1992. During the last 15 years of employment Carol worked with a team of doctors, social workers and other officials of Charlotte helping abused children get the care and justice they deserved. Carol was an avid hiker and in 2010 she and her husband hiked from Georgia to Maine along the Appalachian Trail. Survivors include her husband Richard C. Robinson; daughters, Laura Myssy and husband Dominic of Sydney, Australia, Heather Robinson of Waxhaw and Andrea Robinson of Hanover, N.H.; brother, Joseph Seliske; sister, Bernadine Schroder; and grandson Benjamin. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the , via cancer.org. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, March 15, 2014 in the chapel of James Funeral Home, 10520 Arahova Dr., Huntersville. Deacon Mark Nash will officiate.
