Barbara Ann Bartolomeo INDIAN TRAIL - Barbara Ann Bartolomeo, 69, of Indian Trail, passed away on Friday, Feb. 28, 2014, at home. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2014, from 7:00 - 9:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home, Weddington Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00AM, Thursday, March 13, 2014, at St. Luke Catholic Church with interment following the service at Forest Lawn East Cemetery. Mrs. Bartolomeo was born on May 30, 1944 in East Boston, Mass., daughter to the late Harry and Mary Hibbard. In addition to her parents, her son Ronald Bartolomeo; her grandson Charles Bartolomeo and her three brothers Edward, Richard and James also preceded her in passing. She was a loving and devoted nana, mother, wife, sister and friend. The kind of woman who would do anything for anyone. Her greatest joy in life was taking care of her family and she was the glue that held them together. She was an incredible cook and loved to crochet. Survivors include her beloved husband Charles Bartolomeo of Indian Trail, loving sons Charles Bartolomeo (Susan) of Everett, Mass. and John Bartolomeo of Boston, Mass.; loving daugther-in-law Jessie Bartolomeo (Kevin) of Wesley Chapel; and by her precious grandchildren Nicole, Christian, Alexia, Nicholas, Taylor and Mackenzie.
