Margaret Ludes McClure CHARLOTTE - Mrs. McClure, 94, of Charlotte, NC died on June 9, 2014, at The Haven in Pineville. She was born on June 16, 1919 in St. Paul, Minnesota daughter of the late Joseph and Bridgett Kennedy. Margaret was a longtime member of St. Gabriel's Catholic Church, where she enjoyed singing in the choir, being a Eucharistic Minister and volunteering in the school as a secretary. In addition to her parents she, was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert Ludes, Sr. and R.B. McClure; her brother Joseph Kennedy and daughters-in-law Susan Ludes and Megan Ludes. Mrs. McClure is survived her children Peggy Ferrell and her husband, Rick, Bob and his wife, Stacey, Rick and his wife, Claudia, and Mark and his wife, Lisa. She was also blessed with seven grandchildren, Jennifer, Joe, Bridget, Meredith, Ellen, Bobby and Charlie; as well as 10 cherished great-grand-children. Mass of Christian burial will be at 11:00 AM, Friday June 13, 2014, at St. Gabriel's Catholic Church, 3016 Providence Rd., Charlotte, NC 28211. Interment will follow in Sharon Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Friday at the church for one hour before the mass. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to The , Western Carolina Chapter, 3800 Shamrock Dr., Charlotte, NC 28215. The family deeply appreciates the compassionate care Margaret received at The Haven over the past year and also the care received from Hospice & Palliative Care-Charlotte Region.
