Tad Allen Daugherty
Tad unexpectedly left this world as the result of an automobile accident and started his new life with Jesus on Tuesday, July 15, 2008. He was born July 1, 1990 and had just had a huge 18th birthday celebration. Tad was blessed with many, many good friends all his life and especially from his days at Hopewell High School. From an early age, Tad had an adventurous spirit which he continued to enjoy with his family and friends whether it was water sports, snow skiing, 4 wheeling, target shooting with a bow or riding dirt bikes. One of his highlighted adventures was a 'special' plane ride with one of his special friends.
Tad is survived by his adoring parents, Don and Angela Daugherty and sisters, Amber and Tiffany, who he truly loved and loved to pick on which they loved. In addition he is survived by his grandparents, Judy and Arnold Holder, Donna and Wayne Wheeler, Joe and Norma McGee, Ben and Nancy Daugherty and numerous cousins, aunts and uncles.
Tad was proceeded in death by his great grandparents, Grace and Roger Ballard, King and Mary Daugherty, Clifton and Ernestine Brown.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Friday July 18, 2008 in the Chapel of Raymer Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn West Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening 7:00 to 9:00 at the funeral home.
Tad will always be remembered for his gentle spirit, sweet smile, willingness to help where there was a need and his love of life. He had a special love for his three labs, each one named Banjo. He may be absent from this physical world but he will remain alive forever in his 'Mommy and Daddy's hearts' and the hearts of his other family and friends.
