Wilhelm Ludwig Augustin FORT MILL - Mr. Wilhelm Ludwig Augustin, 85, of Fort Mill, S.C., died Saturday, December 15, 2012. A memorial mass will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 5, 2013 at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, with Father John Giuliani, C.O. officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. Born in Passaic, N.J., Mr. Augustin was the son of the late Stephan Augustin and Apollonia Halvacs Augustin. He was a retired foreman with Duff-Norton in Charlotte and was a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church. He loved his family and enjoyed gardening. Surviving are his son, Stefan Andreas Augustin and his wife, Jeannie, of Cameron, N.C.; two daughters, Anna Brandl-Kleine and her husband, Hans, of Fort Mill and Martha Bash of Charlotte; three sisters, Maria Buczok and her husband, Alex, of Highland Lakes, N.J., Theresia Menconi of Clifton, N.J. and Stefana Mayerhold of Austria; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Anna Mayer Augustin.
