James Wallace Case "Jim" NAPLES, FL - James (Jim) Wallace Case passed away peacefully on January 31, 2013 at Avow Hospice in Naples, FL. Jim was born March 9, 1929 in Charlotte, NC growing up in Fort Mill, SC. Jim loved playing football and graduated from Fort Mill high school in 1946 then went on to play football in college. Later joining the Army and serving for two years. He then attended watch making school and worked in the jewelry business in Kansas City where he met his wife Marian. He and Marian were married in Lexington, SC in 1951 then moved back to Kansas City where he was employed with TWA Airlines as a mechanic. They moved to Largo, FL in 1960 where he was employed by Honeywell Avionics for 30 years, retiring in 1995. Jim was predeceased by his parents Elwyn & Connie Case; brother Harris of Rock Hill, SC; brother Robert Case and sister's Lillian Case and Dorothy Hill all of Fort Mill, SC . Jim is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Marian; brother Elwyn Case of Rock Hill, SC, Son, Bob and wife Betty from Palm Harbor, FL; Son, Don from Richmond, VA; & Daughter, Pat from Naples, FL. Jim was a very proud Papa to 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. A memorial Service will be held on April 13th, 10:00 am at the North Naples United Methodist Church, 600 Goodlette Road North, Naples, FL (Chapel).
