Howard Wesley Cline CHARLOTTE - Mr. Howard Wesley Cline, 89, of Charlotte, passed away on Saturday, April 14, 2013, at Levine and Dickson Hospice House in Charlotte. Mr. Cline was a veteran of the Army where he was an aircraft mechanic during WWII and a long-time member of Woodlawn Baptist Church in Charlotte. He was the son of the late Robert Wesley and Cleo Elizabeth Bollinger Cline and widower of his beloved wife, Lillie Mae Willis Cline. Also preceding him in death were brothers, Marvin Cline, James Cline and Billy Cline; sisters, Nettie Cline Dobson, Myrtle Cline Gragg, Eva Cline Waters and Ruby Cline. Those left to cherish his memory are sons, Gary Cline and wife Kathleen of Stanley, NC, Kenny Cline and wife Karen of Charlotte; sister Betty Cline Mathis; grandchildren, Christopher Cline, Shannon Malone and husband Brian and great grandchildren, MacKenzie Malone, Brian Malone, Jr., Kuyler Malone and Caydence Malone. Funeral Services will be held at 1:30 pm on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at Woodlawn Baptist Church with Reverend Earl Pennell officiating. Entombment will follow the service in the Forest Lawn West Mausoleum with military honors. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
