Franklin Theodore Kiser, Jr. "Junior" HEMBY BRIDGE - Mr. Kiser of Hemby Bridge, went to be with the Lord on December 3, 2013, at the age of 83, at his home with his family by his side. Junior was the son of the late Frank Theodore "Pete" Sr. and Hilda T. Kiser. Mr. Kiser was a career truck driver of 35 years and retired from Hennis Truck Lines. As a hobby, he loved to play his steel guitar and became a very accomplished musician where he played for various VFW and county fairs. Mr. Kiser is preceded in death by his sisters; Margaret Hicks and Louise Privette. He is survived by his wife Phyllis and his sons Ronnie Kiser and girlfriend Rusty, Donald Kiser, Billy Kiser and wife Shirley, daughters Debbie Cox and husband Joey, Anita Hargett and husband Edward and the mother of his five children, Belle Kiser. He also survived by his brother Bobby Kiser, his sister Bonnie Benton, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at Lowe Neddo Funeral Home, 4715 Margaret Wallace Rd., Matthews, NC on Thursday, December 5, 2013 at 1 PM followed by the funeral service at 2 PM in the funeral home chapel.
