Jim Burton Obituary

Jim Scott Burton CHARLOTTE - Jim Scott Burton, 64, of Charlotte, North Carolina, went to be with his Lord Jesus on December 12, 2013. Visitation for Jim's family and friends will be held on Tuesday, December 17 from 6-8 p.m. in the Rea Road at Calvary Church. We will celebrate Jim's life on Wednesday, December 18th at 11 a.m. in the sanctuary at Calvary Church. Burial will immediately follow in Magnolia Memorial Garden at Calvary Church. Jim was a faithful husband, devoted father, and a man whose faith in God defined and strengthened him in the midst of trials and sickness. Jim inspired and encouraged all those who knew and loved him. Jim left behind his loving wife Janet, three daughters, two granddaughters, mother and two brothers. To God be the glory. I had the privilege of knowing and taking care of Jim over last 2 years. He defied all odds and personified courage and inner strength. He was an inspiration to me and I used his case as an example to many of my patients. A great man, blessing from God!!!
