Bob Jones Feb. 4, 1930 - Feb. 14, 2014 FORT MILL - Bob Jones' death is being mourned by Christians around the world, while his life is being recounted and celebrated. Bob was known as one of the remarkable prophetic voices in recent times, and his influence touched many Christian leaders from possibly every nation and denomination, as well as leaders in virtually every other field of influence. In spite of his great impact, Bob lived a remarkably simple life, and treated the lowly and those of no reputation the same as those of note. Almost all who knew him remember him above all as one of the great lovers of God and lovers of people. Bob is survived by his loving wife Bonnie Jones; his son Robert Wayne Jones of Lees Summit, Mo.; step-son Lyn and his wife Katie Kost of Fort Mill, S.C.; step-daughter Kimberly Glover and her husband Doug of Massillon, Ohio; grandchildren Mychal, Brandon, Jordan of Massillon, Ohio, Olivia and Avalyn of Fort Mill, S.C. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and numberless spiritual children and grandchildren. His memorial service will be held at Heritage International Ministries on Friday, Feb. 21, and will be carried live around the world on GodTV, and MorningStarTV at 3:30 pm est. The family will receive friends on Friday from 1 - 3 pm. Interment will be private. (Not to be associated with the Bob Jones of Bob Jones University).
