Blythe Link CHARLOTTE - Blythe Link, 86, passed away peacefully May 22, 2014, at her residence. She was born in Chicago, IL, daughter of the late Kathleen and Dr. Raymond McCradie. She grew up in Chicago Heights, IL, and received her BA from the University of Illinois. After moving to Charlotte, NC, she attended Queens College. She was an avid supporter of the American Red Cross, Colonial Williamsburg, Charlotte Public Libraries and the Mint Museum. Ms. Link was an active member of Myers Park Presbyterian Church and later First Presbyterian Church. She will be remembered as a master gardener, gourmet chef, and talented needlepoint artist. She is survived by her children, Andrea Link, Chris Link, David and Carol Link, and her grandchildren, Mae Link and Libba Kuhn. A private family service will be held. J.B. Tallent Funeral Service is assisting the Link family.
