Joan Mullins was a great friend of Kids in Need. Each year when we had our benefit, Joan was always there for us. She was a special person who really cared about the kids. Her and Jack raised a family to be proud of and they will always be in our hearts.

Just heard earlier today of Joan's passing. Please accept my sympathy. Saying good-bye to Mom is just so darn hard to do. Know that you have friends and neighbors who care, and who loved and respected both of your parents. They were the kind of people that were the bedrock of Oak Brook and made our little village such a special place.

Together again, I can see Jack riding in his B2-Bomber plane, waiting for clearance from God to swing by and grabbing Joan, for this ride is everlasting. Two hearts 1 soul and 11 kids. What a life and legacy and a loss that will be felt from many of hearts. Your memories will outlast many generations, through the numerous lives you both touch. Thank you both for you excellence, in not only in a service you provided, but also employing my services. To the family find comfort in each other and know Jack only had clearance for 1 more ride and he came back for his soul mate, his true love, your mom. I'm sure Jack gained God's trust thru his warm smile and a handshake, the same handshake that started the business. Enjoy heaven you too, for now you have a everlasting life that no-one can separate you ever again.

Colleen and I were saddened to hear the news of your mother's passing.Then we read the obituary. We already knew what a marvelous and great mother she was. But reading the obit made us happy. Well Joan at last Jack can finally pick you up in his B-92 Bomber plane and show you around heaven, I'm sure he has so much to share with you and wants to know what you been up too. So as you 2 unite for the last time, know that the job done here with the family & your dedication to Mullins Food Product serves as a testament to your legacy and it will out live anything here on earth. The precious memories and the friendships endured over the years is a just a faint hint of what you meant to so many people.
