Mark E. Palenik, age 64, a 26 year resident of Naperville, IL. at rest Wednesday, November 28, 2012. Mark was born Jan 16, 1948 in Chicago, IL. Beloved son of the late Samuel and Mildred (Kucera) Palenik. Loving husband of Deborah (nee Piper). Beloved father of Mark and dear brother of Samuel "Skip" (Margaret) Palenik and Constance (Thomas) Schoening. Fond uncle of Chris, Jeff, Tommy and Mark. Mark was a graduate of The University of Illinois Chicago with a B.S. Degree in Chemistry. He was employed with Microtrace as a scientist. He was an active member of St. Raphael Catholic Church where he worked with the youth ministry and taught religious education. He loved Classical music and was very dedicated to his friends and his family. A memorial Mass will be held at St. Raphael Catholic Church, 1215 Modaff Rd. Naperville, IL. On Thursday, Dec 6, 2012 at 10:30 AM. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Justice, IL. Memorials appreciated to Mercy Home for Boys & Girls, 1140 W. Jackson Blvd, Chicago, IL. Dear Debbie and Little Mark
I am so sorry for Your loss. Words can not express the sorrow we feel for You both and the entire Palenik family. Mark was such a wonderful person. Great husband and father. We always had so much fun seeing him at family gatherings. He will be truly missed. We are still in shock at his passing. May God ease Your sorrow during this difficult time.
