Giblin, Dolores - Gary  
Dolores Giblin, 87, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2015 in Merrillville, Indiana. Dolores was born December 17, 1927 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the daughter of Carl V. and Stella (Prater) Bonnell. In 1954, Dolores married Edward M. Giblin and moved to Gary, Indiana. She returned to school, earning a degree in Elementary Education with honors from Purdue University, Calumet. She was employed by the Gary School System and is remembered as an excellent teacher who inspired her students, several of whom remained in touch throughout the years. Dolores was an avid reader with a special fondness for Shakespeare and poetry. She was also an animal lover, being devoted to the numerous cats and dogs who enjoyed a loving home with her. She was a member of St. Stephen, Martyr Catholic Church in Merrillville, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her parents and beloved brothers, Carl E. and Ralph Bonnell and sister, Aileen Wyninger. Dolores is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Edward; children, Susan (Dale) Harvoth and Michael (Page Knoebel) Giblin; grandson, Joshua (Erin Weaver) Harvoth; granddaughter April (Allen) Young and great-grandson, Payton Young; as well as many nieces and nephews. Visitation for Dolores will be at Rendina Funeral Home in Merrillville from 5-7 pm., Monday, March 30th. A funeral mass will be held at St. Stephen, Martyr Church, Merrillville, at 10 am., Tuesday, March 31st, with burial at Calumet Park Cemetery to follow immediately after. Dolores supported many charities throughout her life. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The American Leprosy Missions, The Northwest Indiana Food Bank, and Satchel's Last Resort in Sarasota, Florida.

Lansing, IL Edward A. Gomez, 49, of Lansing, IL passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2015. He is survived by his wife, Katie (nee Hinkleman); children, Anthony, Olivia and Teddy Gomez; father, Rudolph "Rudy" Gomez; sister, Fran Callahan; nephew, Jack Callahan; several aunts, uncle and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Antonia Gomez; nephew, Patrick Callahan; numerous aunts and uncles. Visitation will be on Monday, March 30, 2015 from 3:00-8:00 PM with a prayer service at 3:30 PM at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. and on Tuesday from 9:30-10:00 AM at the church. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at 10:00 Am at St. Thomas More Church, 8501 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. Interment will be private. Gougler, Lawrence - Evanston  
Larry Gougler, age 95, of Evanston and Winnetka passed away peacefully on March 4, 2015. Born in Quincy, Illinois in 1919, Larry was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 55 years, Sally. Larry is survived by his two children, Ann ( Don ) Boyd and Fred ( Francoise ) Gougler, seven grandchildren, Kristin ( Eric ) Zeckman, Lawrence ( Cheryl ) Boyd, Kate, Sarah and Alexis Boyd, Julia ( Cory ) Eagerman and Christopher Gougler and one special great granddaughter, Betsy Zeckman. Larry served as an Intelligence Officer in both World War II and the Korean War. He had a long career at the Northern Trust Company as Executive Vice President and Corporate Secretary. Larry was involved in many civic and charitable organizations serving as a Life Trustee of the Brookfield Zoo and as a member of the New Trier High School Board of Education. An Eagle Scout, Larry remained active with the Chicago Area Boy Scouts for many years serving in a variety of leadership roles. He also remained a loyal supporter of his alma mater, the University of Illinois where he was a member of the Phi Delta Theta fraternity. He loved golf and was a member of Exmoor Country Club. Greenberger, Stacia - Chicago  
STACIA PLEVA GREENBERGER, 84, longtime resident of Evanston and Longboat Key, FL, passed away on March 25 after a heroic battle against cancer. Beloved wife of the late Ernest Greenberger, devoted mother of Jim Greenberger (wife: Ellen) of Wilmette, IL and Dan Greenberger (wife: Genevieve Dutil) of Los Angeles, CA, proud grandmother of Gregory and Jeremy Greenberger, and Molly Myhill-Greenberger, and loving sister of Manya Jo Pleva of Chicago. Stacey was born in Hammond, IN, studied at Drake University, the University of Iowa and Northwestern University, and was a fixture in the social and artistic life of Evanston. She was heavily involved in the Evanston Art Center and served for many years as a docent at the Chicago Architecture Foundation. She was an avid bridge player and tireless hostess. According to her wishes, there will be no funeral or memorial service. A party celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, May 16, 1:30 - 5 p.m. at The Mather, 425 Davis Street, Evanston.

Gregory, Florence - Naperville  
Florence Fraley Gregory, age 90, a lifelong resident of Naperville, IL at rest March 24, 2015. She was born on a farm that now is Springbrook Golf Course in January 23, 1925. Florence was a lifelong active member of Wheatland Salem UMC where she was a very active member of United Methodist Women, Church Women United, and Family Service of DuPage. She did volunteer work at church and at area nursing homes. She is survived by her children Harry C., Phillip R. (Debbie), Joe G. (Kerri) Gregory and Carol G. (Michael) Kucera. She is also survived by many Grandchildren and Great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Jane (nee McPherson) Fraley, her husband Gordon; as well as her brother and three sisters. A memorial service will be held at the Wheatland Salem United Methodist Church, 1852 95th St., Naperville, IL at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 14, 2015. Memorials preferred to the church. Gregory, Myrtle - Zion  
Myrtle W. Gregory, 80, of Winthrop Harbor, died March 26, 2015. Myrtle was a nine year resident at Winchester House in Libertyville as an Alzheimers patient. Myrtle was a loving mother and devoted homemaker. She is survived by her husband James M. Gregory; three children, James A. Gregory, Michael L. (Linda) Gregory, and Elizabeth (Gary) Hudson; four grandchildren Christopher, Brandon, Joshua, and Mikaila. She was preceded in death by an infant son, Timothy Ray Gregory.
