Oberto, Annette - Greeley, CO  
Annette B Oberto, 84, of Greeley CO passed away at Grace Pointe Continuing Care on March 24th, 2016 after a long illness. Born Annette Burgess in Glencoe, IL to Jackson and Elizabeth Burgess, she married Edwin Oberto in 1953, and, after living in Boulder Colorado, Mundelein and Libertyville Illinois, she and her husband settled in Lake Geneva WI, living there up to his death in 2008. Along with being a mother of four, Anne was an avid rider of horses, and was extremely active in the Episcopal Church She is survived by her brother Tom Burgess of Texas, and four children: Tenney, Peter (married to Joan Kruse), Leo (married to Kathleen) and Joe (married to Kendall), as well as two highly exceptional grandchildren (Casey and Charles). Anne was a woman of amazing spirit, a wicked sense of humor, and a smile for anyone she met. She will be greatly missed by friends and family. Services are to be held on Friday, June 10th, 2016 at Christ Episcopal Church, located at 501 E Walworth Avenue in Delavan, WI. In lieu of flowers or gifts, her children request that her family and friends drink to the long life and health of this remarkable woman.

Ostrander, Lois - Northbrook  
Lois Ostrander, nee Arndt, 83, of Northbrook, passed away April 25, 2016. Beloved wife for 54 years of the late Lee H. Ostrander, Jr.; loving mother of Lee "Dutch" (Marie) Ostrander III and Miles W. Ostrander; cherished grandmother of Clay, Sarah, Connor and Miles W. Ostrander Jr.; dear sister of the late Bill (Bernadette) Arndt; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Ostrander was a graduate of New Trier High School. Prior to becoming a devoted wife and mother, she was a model, and then a recruiter for an employment agency in Chicago. She later became active in the Association House of Chicago, The Northbrook's Women's Club, and numerous political campaigns. She was co owner of a shop in Northbrook, "For the Girls". A memorial visitation will be held Friday, May 27, 2016, from 3 to 7 pm at N.H. Scott & Hanekamp Funeral Home, 1240 Waukegan Rd., Glenview (just south of Lake Ave. on west side). Family and friends are invited to continue the Celebration of Lois's Life immediately following the visitation at a local restaurant. Olson, Lyle - Lake Forest  
Lyle Elwood Olson, 92, of Lake Forest passed away on April 14, 2016. Beloved husband of Joan Gotham Olson for 67 years, cherished father to Lynn D. Olson and James L. Olson (Julie Strodel), doting grandfather to Ned Abderholden, Lauren Abderholden, Brooke Abderholden, Kathryn Olson and Lindsey Olson. Lyle spent his youth in Alden, MN. He then served our country during WWII as part of the 75th infantry from November, 1942 to March, 1946. He was awarded the Bronze Star for his efforts during the Battle of the Bulge and the invasion of Germany. Upon completion of his military service, he returned to Evanston, IL and graduated from Northwestern University School of Commerce. He became a CPA and started his career as an accountant at Swanson, Ogilvie and MacKenzie. He became a Partner in 1954 and served as Managing Partner for over 30 years. He moved to Lake Forest in 1963 and was elected to public office in 1970 serving as the West Deerfield Township Auditor. In his position as Treasurer on the Edmond and Alice Opler Foundation, Lyle has been able to provide financial support to local charities for the past 25 years and was recognized by Lake Forest Hospital for their continuous support. Lyle was a long standing member of The Union League Club of Chicago and was active in the Boys & Girls Club program. He loved playing golf with friends and he was able to achieve a life goal when he shot his age at 85. His true undying passion was following the Northwestern Wildcat football team as he was a season ticket holder for over 60 years. A private memorial service is planned for family members. Ottenstein, Jacob - Northbrook  
Jacob Daniel Ottenstein, 28, died peacefully in his Northbrook home on April 23rd; Jake enjoyed music, movies, reading, and, most of all, spending time with family and his dog and inseparable friend, Mack. He proudly excelled in the family business. He graduated from Glenbrook North High School, where he participated in hockey and jazz band. He went to the University of Colorado. He is survived by his parents Judy, nee Pawlow and Larry; older brother Zack; aunts Roberta Rosenthal, nee Pawlow and Rosemary Ottenstein; many cousins; and friends who he loved and cherished.
