Rieger, Robert - Lake Barrington  
Robert Rieger, 92, beloved husband of Joan Cummings Rieger, was born in Chicago, IL, on May 21,1923. He died in the arms of his family on August 11. He is the loving father of Nancy Rieger Hernandez ( Jose), and Allen David Rieger, the proud grandfather of Lauren Hernandez and Melissa De Muth (John), and a cherished friend to many. He was proceeded in death by his father, Benedict, his mother, Ruth Hegeman, and his son, Ronald Robert (Ann). He graduated from Lane Technical High School in 1941. In recognition of his superior work, he was elected to the Scholarship Association, and was concert master of the symphony orchestra his senior year. He completed two years at Wright Junior College and continued his education at West Virginia University. Robert served in the U.S. Army Air Force where he was the proud recipient of an Asiatic Pacific Ribbon, American Theater Ribbon, Air Medal, and Outstanding Conduct Medal. He was honorably discharged on November 14,1945. He was an active Gold Circle member of The Veterans of Foreign Wars and a Lifetime Charter member of the World War II Memorial Society. He was an avid fan of all Chicago sports and loved his Cubs. To honor his life, there will be, A Celebration of the Life of Robert Rieger, on Saturday, October 3, at 10am, at Lake Barrington Woods Senior Living, 22320 Classic Court, Lake Barrington, IL. Alfred A. "Al" Roth, 94, of Prospect Heights,IL. U.S. Navy Veteran of W.W.2. Beloved husband of Vergie and the late Rosemary; loving father of Pamela(Art) Leimetter, Randy(Maggi) Roth, Laurie(Peter) Donahue, Tom(Amy) Marti and Liz(Scott)Zydel; grandfather of Kyle Leimetter, Joe Roth, Caitlyn, Peter, Meghan and Collen Donahue, Aidan, Ella and Emily Marti; great-grandfather of Jayce and Hunter; master of Duke, his loving dog. AL was retired from Thermal Dynamics and an avid water-skier, aviator, horseman, animal lover, inventor, astronomer, businessman and captain of his ship. Rudman, Edward - Las Cruces  
Edward Joseph Rudman, 77, of Las Cruces, New Mexico and Lombard, Illinois. This wonderful loving husband and father went to be with our Lord and Saviour on Monday 8/24/15 after a very brief illness. He was a proud member of the United States Army and served in Vietnam. He was preceded in death by his mother Mary Ellen (nee Bennett), father Percy Adrian Rudman, sister Madonna, and wives Eydie (nee Mangone) and Helen (nee Perry). He leaves behind many heartbroken family members that include his loving wife (twice!) of Sally (nee Lewis) Rudman, loving children Joseph (Barbara) Rudman, Edward (Sandra) Rudman, Luana Krott, Jerry (MaryKim) Rudman, Richard Roman, Brenda Roman, and loving step children Marie Rudman, Tony (Alisa) Geitgey, and Robert Flint. Through those loving children he leaves behind many, many grandchildren (10), step grandchildren (11), great grandchildren (9.5), and step great grandchildren (15). He will be memorialized at Sacred Heart Church on Elizabeth & Maple in Lombard, Illinois on 10/3/15 at 10am. Luncheon to be served immediately following mass.
