Humenik D.D.S., Joseph - Northbrook  
Joseph J. Humenik, D.D.S., age 84, a resident of Northbrook, IL since 1961, passed away Sunday, July 26, 2015. He was born to the late John and Susana Humenik on March 18, 1931. Beloved and cherished husband of 56 years to Barbara A. (nee Koziol), and devoted father of Mary Beth (Scott) Kilrea, Ann (Michael) Maslowski and Dr. Mark (Mary Beth) Humenik. Proud "Poppy" of John and Megan Maslowski; Katie, Sean, Maggie and Emily Kilrea. Dear brother of Ann (the late Dr. Jerome) Slovick, the late Mary (the late Ray) Nosik, Susan (Kenneth) Lambert and brother-in-law of the late Walter Koziol (Carol) and Chet Bialek. Fond uncle and friend of many. Joe attended James Monroe Elementary School and was Valedictorian of the January, 1949 graduating class of Carl Schurz High School. He attended Wright Junior College and put himself through Loyola University School of Dentistry, graduating Cum Laude in 1955. He was a member of the Psi Omega Fraternity and Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the National Dental Honor Society. Immediately following graduation, he entered the U.S. Air Force, serving in the Dental Corps at Elmendorf AFB in Anchorage, Alaska for two years. He practiced general dentistry in Northbrook from 1957 to 1996. Joe was a member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society and Chicago Dental Society. He was also a charter member of the Northbrook Rotary Club. Joe was a humble, caring man and will truly be missed. Visitation will be Saturday, August 1, 12:30pm until time of Mass of Christian Burial, 1:30pm at St. Norbert Catholic Church, 1809 Walters Avenue, Northbrook, IL. Interment All Saints Cemetery. Ingerham, Phillip - Cissna Park, Illinois  
Phillip Russell Ingerham, 77, of Cissna Park, IL, passed away at 11:48 P.M. Sunday August 2, 2015, at Carle Hoopeston Regional Health Center in Hoopeston. He was born July 8, 1938, in Lapaz, IN, the son of Philo and Dortha (Holland) Ingerham. He married Susan Stillerman on February 14, 1970, in Los Angeles, CA. She survives in Cissna Park, IL. He is survived by two daughters, Mara Ingerham of Chicago, IL and Leah (Jacob) Elstein of Tacoma, WA; one brother, Leon (Jeanne) Ingerham of West Lafayette, IN; one sister-in-law, Arlene Ingerham of West Lafayette, IN; one granddaughter, Sara Elstein and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Paul Ingerham. Phillip was a photographer. He served as special services in the United States Army, where he also went to language school to learn Russian. One of his achievements was being his high school basketball team's star player. Phillip's hobbies included making furniture and photography. Cremation rites have been accorded and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Mary Kenzie,nee Harrington,93, born in Keokuk, Ia. Attended Rosary College in River Forest,raised her family in Homewood. Children- Mary Clare (Crawford Honeycutt), Catherine (La Plante), Patrick (Theresa), William (Karen) and Daniel (Amy). Grandchildren, Charles (Connie) and Tom La Plante, William, Susan, Kaitlyn, Madeline, Bennett, Mary and Sarah Kenzie. Preceeded in death by her loving husband William (1921-1982), her dear siblings Margaret Griffey, Joseph and Dayton "Mike" Harrington and sister-in-law Mary Beth Harrington. Her children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and their families cherish her precious memory. Known as Mom, Aunt Mary and Gramma Mary, she will remain in our hearts forever. KRACKENBERGER, MARY - Skokie, IL  
Mary Patricia Krackenberger, née Welch, age 69, died on Saturday, August 1, 2015. She was the beloved wife of John; loving mother of Katie (Scott Baker), Michael, and Peter (Christine) Krackenberger; dearest grandmother of Ryan and Colin Hegg. Born August 11, 1945 to Frank and Frieda Welch and younger sister of Dennis and Kathrine Welch, and "sister" of Amy Thompson, she was a lifelong resident of Skokie, IL. In 1967, Mary traveled to India, where she volunteered as a member of the U.S. Peace Corps. She attended John Marshall Law School, where she met her husband-to-be. Mary and John were married on February 6, 1971, and graduated from law school in 1973. Mary was a practicing attorney, loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many, and active member of the St. Lambert Church community. Despite battling cancer for nearly 10 years, Mary remained active and in great spirits, traveling with her husband, frequently visiting the Chicago Botanic Garden, snuggling with her dog, Jasper, and spending time with her many friends and family who will miss her dearly. According to Mary's wishes, her body is being donated to the Anatomical Gift Association of Illinois so that future doctors may have the opportunity to further their medical knowledge. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, August 8, at 10 a.m., at St. Lambert Catholic Church, 8148 Karlov Av., Skokie. Kulze, Lillian - Arlington Heights  
Lillian A. Kulze was born March 31, 1924 in Chicago, Illinois to Jan and Jania Stirzenbecher. She died Sunday, August 2, 2015 at Lutheran Home & Services in Arlington Heights, Illinois at the age of 91. Mrs. Kulze attended Schubert Grade School and Foreman High School in Chicago before attending Northwestern University where she studied interior design. She was the owner of the successful Mayfair Design shop before retiring. Lillian is preceded in death by her loving husband of 65 years James; her parents and her sister. Lambin, Marjorie - Countryside  
Marjorie M. Lambin (nee Cotton), age 91, died after a short illness, on Thursday July 30, 2015.Marjorie was a resident of La Grange, formerly of La Grange Park since 1950. She was a lover of books and a 28 year La Grange Park Public Library volunteer. She was also a La Grange Memorial Hospital volunteer in 1955. After raising five children in the area, Marjorie enjoyed traveling citing Israel, Australia, Alaska, Malta and Paris as favorite destinations. She logged over 25,000 tour bus miles in the USA. She sang with the Gracettes Choir at Grace Lutheran Church of La Grange for many years and was an active prayer group member. Her hobbies included oil painting, rose malling, calligraphy, handwriting analysis, decoupage, guitar, organ, gardening, knitting, quilting, Tai Chi, Yoga and cake decorating. She was a 36 year breast cancer survivor and walked a mile on the lake front for breast cancer at age 85. She is survived by her children Timothy (Roberta) Lambin, Susan (Edward) Hayes, Mark Lambin, David (Deborah) Lambin, and Daughter-in-law Dawn Schackman. Grandchildren: Kelly, Timothy, Julie, Michael, Scott, Jeffrey, Rachael, John-Henry, Kristina, and Matthew. Great Grandchildren: Michael, Joseph, Nicholas, Kaley, Connor, Kira, Kendyll, Ryan, Hayley, William, Madelyn, Grace, Ava, Ella, Nicholas, Luke, and Adalyn. Preceded in death by her husband Warren, her son John, and grandson Thomas. Visitation 3 to 8pm Sunday, August 02 at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside.
