Earl Wardrum

Wardrum, Earl Roy of St. Petersburg, FL passed away July 4, 2014 at the age of 80. He was born in Chicago to Florence Anna Przybyszewski and Roy Wardrum. He graduated from Steinmetz High School in 1953 and earned his B.Arch. ('57) and M.Arch. ('60) from the University of Illinois. He was in the Army from 1957-1959 where he tested rockets for the U.S. Space Program in Huntsville, AL. Earl enjoyed a long career in the field of architecture during which he designed over 40 medical facilities worldwide. He moved to Florida in 1992 to semi-retire and pursue his passion for boating. He is survived by his partner, Shari Watson. He will be missed by his five children, Christopher, Eric (Michelle), Mark, Amy Grenier (Michael) and Scott (Alice); and his three grandchildren, Alexander, Gretchen and Lucy. He is also survived by the mother of his children, Dorothy Parsons of Naples, FL. A memorial service will be held in St. Petersburg and his remains will be buried in St. Adalbert in Niles, IL.
