Jerome Remien

photoJerome Remien, 78, died suddenly in Stuart, Florida on April 1, 2013. Jerry was the loving husband of Lynn (Mattes) Remien for 56 years. Devoted father of Susan, Tami, Jami, Jerry (Heather), and Natalie (Jaime) Morales and grandfather of nine. He was co-founder and President of Tri-R Vending Service Company which was his true passion. "Automatic Merchandiser Magazine" referred to it as the "Largest Privately Held Vending Company in the Nation." Jerry was a resident of Northbrook and member of St. Norbert Parish for 50 years. He graduated from Loyola Academy and Northwestern University (Sigma Chi Fraternity). Jerry and his family spent summers at Lauderdale Lakes, Wisconsin. He was a member of Sunset Ridge Country Club and in 1996, Piper's Landing in Palm City, Florida became his second home. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Norbert Church in Northbrook on Friday, May 31, at 11:00 a.m. The family has asked that any memorials be made in Jerry's name to Heartland Animal Shelter, 2975 Milwaukee Ave., Northbrook, IL 60062
