Raymond Albert Carroll

icon Raymond Albert Carroll, 79, of Joliet, Aurora, and Evanston, IL, devoted husband, father and grandfather, passed away at his Evanston home on January 16, 2013 of cancer, with his beloved wife at his side. He was born May 3, 1933 in Joliet, IL and was preceded in death by his parents, Howard A. Carroll and Elsie Holman Carroll of Joliet, IL, his brother Howard Carroll Jr., and sisters Lois Filas and Marilyn (Robert) Suffern. He is survived by his loving wife Mary Kay (Johnston) Carroll , sister Joyce (Larry) Hollatz of New Lenox, IL, daughters Kristen (John) Burns of Ridgefield, CT, Julie (Jeff) Irving of Evanston, IL, and son Kevin (Nancy) Carroll of Seattle, WA, and 8 grandchildren: Timothy, Nicholas, Grace, Madeline and Noah Burns, Maggie and Nolan Irving and Mina Carroll. He will be greatly missed by Joe and Bea (Johnston) Nelligan, Robert Suffern, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. There will be no visitation or funeral service.
