I worked with Ruth through art therapy in recent years. She was a fascinating woman with some unbelievable childhood memories. She enjoyed making art for its ability to focus "in the moment". A truly beautiful person.

Annette - am sitting with my dad, a hospice patient at Hill crest Hospital at 3:30 am and just picked up the Plain Dealer and saw your mom's notice. Just loved your mom and sitting at the kitchen table having tea with her and Mitzi. Lovely, lovely woman and I remember her fondly. Weird to be facing same thing at the same time - thinking of you and Danny - lots of nice memories.

Dear Annette & Daniel,

I am deeply sorry for the loss of your mother. When I was a child she watched me until my mother got home from work. Your mom treated me like one of her own, including me in family dinners and taking me to plays. She was such a nice and caring person and I never forgot her. May you find comfort in the memories you shared.

Dear Annette,

So sorry to hear about your mothers death. In my eyes all our parents that survived the war in Europe are heroes.
I have never met your mother, but I'm sure she was a wonderful person.
I'm in Scottsdale and will not be able to see you. My payers are with you and your family at this time,
