Frances Giloth Obituary

Frances Ruth Giloth, nee Cramer, born August 7, 1918, resident of Wheaton, IL, for 35 years and was born and raised in Evanston, IL, passed away on Dec. 16, 2001 at home. Survived by her husband of 59 years, Paul Karl Giloth of Wheaton, IL; four children, Barbara Giloth (Fred Hilbruner) of Chicago, IL, Robert Giloth (Kari Moe) of Washington DC, Copper Giloth (John Dubach) of Amherst, MA and Sandra (Stuart) Harris of Aurora, IL; nine grandchildren, Christopher, Elizabeth, Beryl, Emma, Sean, Lian, Stephan, Jack, Sara and her brother Alwin M. Cramer of Hot Springs Village, AR; she was preceded in death by her parents, Alice May Cramer and Alwin M. Cramer, of Evanston, IL. A graduate of Evanston High School, Beloit College and a member of the Pi Beta Phi Sorority. She was a lifelong member of the Episcopal Church and held leadership positions in the Altar Guild, the Women of Trinity and the St. Margaret's Guild. She sewed, knitted, and was an avid quilt maker. Memorial service Saturday, Jan. 5, 2001 at Trinity Episcopal Chapel, 130 N. West Street, Wheaton, IL 60187. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Memorial Tree for Frances Giloth, Morton Arboretum, 4100 Illinois Route 53, Lisle, IL 60532 630-968-0074 or Trinity Church Altar Guild or Trinity Chapel Trust Fund at Trinity Episcopal Church, 130 N. West Street, Wheaton, IL 60187, 630-665-1101.
