Harold W. Sperling, age 87, of Palatine. Beloved husband of the late Marie M. Sperling, nee Kay; loving father of William H. (Carole), Robert J. (Christine), Kevin J. (Cynthia) Sperling and Kathleen M. (Drew) Pignatari; loving grandfather of seven and great-grandfather of six. He was employed at Cities Service Co. "Citgo" for 35 years and was a WWII Navy veteran in the South Pacific. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Monday, at Ahlgrim & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, 330 W. Golf Road, Schaumburg. Funeral prayers 9:15 a.m. Tuesday, to St. Hubert Church. Mass 10 a.m. Interment Maryhill Cemetery.
