To the Buik family - I send my sympathies at the passing of your dear Wife, Mother and Grandmother. I will always remember Mrs. Buik as a woman with a great sense of style and great sense of humor. She was an integral member of my Mother's group of friends who met monthly in each others' homes as 'The Needlepoint Group' or as my Dad called them 'Busy Fingers and Fancy Doers'. We're so sorry for your loss, and know that Mrs. Buik certainly touched many people, in a myriad of ways. Mr. and Mrs. Buik will always be the best neighbors a family could hope for. I will always remember Mrs. Buik as she prepared for her many long walks with the dogs, and enjoyed the outdoors and her garden. Deepest sympathy to your family.

Chris, Mom told me a couple days ago, about "Mrs. Buik" (as we always called her!) going to Heaven. What a sweet lady she always was, and was ever-willing to be the mother-down-the-street to all of us stinky little boys. We'll miss her, and the Pepers have lost a real friend.
